A well-established and growing civil infrastructure contractor is looking for an Intermediate Estimator to join their team in the Waikato.

Known for delivering specialist underground infrastructure and three waters projects across New Zealand, this business has built a strong reputation through quality workmanship, long-term client relationships, and a practical, people first approach.

About the Role Working alongside experienced senior leadership and project teams, you’ll be involved in preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of civil infrastructure projects.

Projects include:

• Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
• Trenchless infrastructure installations
• Water, wastewater, and stormwater works
• Pump stations and treatment infrastructure
• Open cut civil construction works

Our client is looking for someone who can step in with a solid foundation of estimating experience and continue developing their technical and commercial capability.

To be successful you'll have:

• Previous estimating experience within civil construction or infrastructure
• Exposure to underground utilities, three waters, or HDD/trenchless projects
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Good communication and relationship building skills
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude
• Desire to learn and grow within the business
