This forensic psychiatry role will see you joining a major health service focused on meeting the future needs of individuals and families living in Queensland’s southeast region. With the Brisbane region experiencing rapid population growth, the health service is focussed on developing a robust hospital and health service including fit-for-purpose health and well-being spaces, interconnected buildings and multidisciplinary health services, along with research, education, and community partnerships.
This permanent full-time position will see you delivering quality services across high security inpatient programs. Responsibilities include providing clinical leadership, mentoring and guiding multidisciplinary staff, contributing to assessment and treatment planning using a recovery-oriented approach, engaging in consultation liaison services, and providing training and development for junior doctors and other medical staff.
