Apply directAn exciting opportunity has become available for a Finance Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Brisbane’s inner city.
Working closely with a supportive Finance Manager, you’ll take on a varied role supporting accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations, playing a key part in the day-to-day finance function.
This is an initial 4 month temporary contract, well suited to someone immediately available and looking for a short term assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
- Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and collections
- Bank, account and balance sheet reconciliations
- Allocations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Managing queries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers/customers
- Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes
- 2–5+ years’ experience in a Finance Officer or Accounts role
- Strong exposure across both AP and AR functions
- Experience working in a commercial, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
- Confident communicator who can build relationships with stakeholders
- Comfortable working with systems and intermediate Excel skills
