You will work across community, outreach, and inpatient settings to support clients through withdrawal, recovery, and ongoing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and counselling support
- Support clients through withdrawal and recovery pathways
- Provide pharmacotherapy and harm minimisation strategies
- Facilitate group programs and education sessions
- Collaborate with internal teams, community services, and families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and attend case conferences
- Participate in outreach services across the region
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Experience in mental health, AOD, or community health (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
- Current driver’s licence
- Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) in AOD or related field
- Salary: $80,524 – $109,175 + 12% super
- Access to Grade 4 salary ($102,439 – $109,175) subject to progression
- Salary packaging: up to $9,010 + $2,650 meal entertainment
- Relocation support:
- Up to $15,000 (international)
- Up to $10,000 (interstate)

- Location: Ulverstone, North West Tasmania
- Hours: Full-time (76 hours per fortnight)
