Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a capable Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join a client-side consultancy delivering commercial fit-out projects across Sydney.

This role is responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery across programme, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, taking ownership of project outcomes while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Manage end-to-end delivery of commercial fit-out projects
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and key milestones
• Coordinate all phases including briefing, design, procurement, construction, and handover
• Monitor project performance and proactively address risks and issues

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and reporting
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Provide regular updates on programme, cost, risks, and project status

• Manage and coordinate design teams, contractors, and specialist consultants
• Support procurement processes including tendering, assessment, and recommendations
• Drive accountability across the project team to achieve project objectives

• Track budgets, variations, and financial performance of projects
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with contracts, approvals, and regulatory requirements

• Project Manager: 4–7 years’ experience in construction/project management
• Senior Project Manager: 6–12+ years’ experience with demonstrated project ownership
• Proven experience delivering commercial office / workplace fit-out projects
• Background in client-side consultancy, contractor, or developer environment
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
