Besides this one, most job adverts are BS.

I’m serious. They all lie, intentionally or not.

Even the ones that aren’t nonsense stretch the truth, spin everything, because they’re trying to sell you. Funny, that.

Or they ‘think’ they’re selling you, but they’re doing a poor job because the person writing it is clueless about what a C# dev like you wants.

So, how do you know this advert isn’t BS?

Because it’s not going to spin anything positively.

Everything’s going to try to put you off.

And if, after you’ve read everything bad, you still want to apply, you’ll know it was worth it. 

Let’s start with what it is.

It’s a Senior C# Full Stack Developer position for a SAAS based product. 

The team are working longer hours than the Founders want them to.

There’s a huge backlog/feature requests, that the devs are working on.

There’s s more set-up/foundation (DevOps) type work that needs to be done so the foundation can be built higher.  

Scalability is an issue. 

But who knows, this type of mandate might stress you out.

Despite the above, the company has a unique offering in a less crowded market.

They've attracted/retained some talented SW Engineers. 

The Founders have completed several funding rounds and series B is underway.

The VCs are confident in them; you might be too.  

Chances are, you’ve seen through our BS. You know we think this company/job is pretty cool. We couldn’t keep that from coming across in this ad.
