Job Summary
Are you a skilled MIG Welder who takes pride in precision and craftsmanship? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team in Fruitport, MI. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality welds on metal components while supporting general fabrication operations. Depending on your performance and work ethic, this opportunity could lead to long-term placement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform MIG welding on metal components with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Assist with general fabrication duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- MIG welding experience required
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and weld quality
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and safety procedures
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong work ethic and reliability
