Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Builder / Laborer to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, assisting in the construction and assembly of modular residential structures. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction backgrounds who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in building quality residential products.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Builder / Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
-Assisting with modular home construction: Perform hands-on building tasks involving residential structures and components throughout various stages of production.
-Using construction tools and equipment: Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and residential construction equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
-Supporting skilled trades and production teams: Work alongside team members on framing, installation, assembly, and general construction-related duties.
-In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow all safety procedures, and assist wherever needed to keep projects moving on schedule.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
- Experience working with residential construction tools and equipment
- Basic trade skills such as framing, carpentry, drywall, roofing, electrical, plumbing, or finishing work are a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
Skills:
-Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with residential building practices, tools, and materials.
-Dependability: Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential in this team-oriented environment.
-Adaptability: Ability to assist with a variety of construction-related tasks and learn new skills as needed.
