Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00AM–5:00PM

Extras: Occasional Saturday work + PPE provided

About the Role

You’ll be working with a variety of metal materials, carrying out welding, oxy cutting and assisting with the preparation and processing of large steel components. This is a practical, physical role suited to someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a tight‑knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding using MIG, TIG and ARC

• Oxy welding and cutting of various metal materials

• Assisting with planning, measuring and cutting large steel sections

• Supporting the recycling and metal‑processing workflow

• Following all safety procedures and site requirements

• Keeping your work area clean, organised and hazard‑free

What You Need

• Solid welding and oxy‑cutting experience

• Clear communication skills

• Ability to work independently or in a team

• Reliable, punctual and committed to safety

• Strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty outdoor yard

• Positive, can‑do attitude

Position Details

• Permanent, full‑time role

• Based in Wacol

• Monday to Friday, 6AM–5PM

• Occasional Saturday work
