- Shift Schedule:
- 3 day teams: 7a-7p
- 2 teaching teams 7a-7p
- 1 night team 7p-7a
- Running Codes: Yes
- Rapid Response Team: Yes
- Procedures: Physicians are NOT required to do procedures but must be comfortable in the event of an emergency situation. They will be required to select the following on the application:
- Electrical Cardioversion
- Interpretation of Electrocardiogram
- IV Sedation
- Hyper alimentation
- Short Term Vent Management
- Intubation
- Credentialing: 30 -60 days – on average
- IM/FM Accepted
- New Grads: Yes if board certified
- EMR: Meditech
- The Surgery team takes care performs paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, and central lines. The Critical Care team manages the vent. Hospitalist are responsible for responding to codes on all floors, except for the ED.
- Physician will be credentialed at both hospitals
