Job Position: Extrusion Machine Operator / Extrusion Helper

📍 Location: Rockwall
💲 Pay Rate: $17.75/hr+ (Depending on Experience)
🕒 Shift: 12-Hour Shifts

Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 5:45 AM – 5:45 PM

  • Night Shift: 5:45 PM – 5:45 AM

Shift Options:

  • A Shift (Day): Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday

  • B Shift (Night): Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday

  • C Shift (Day): Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday

  • D Shift (Night): Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday

Job Description:

An Extrusion Operator is someone who runs and monitors machines that melt and shape raw plastic material into products like plastic bags, tubing, film, or other plastic materials.

We are currently hiring Extrusion Machine Operators and Extrusion Helpers for a manufacturing facility in Rockwall, TX. This department is the first step of the production process where plastic is produced and processed.

This is a fast-paced industrial environment that requires candidates to be comfortable working in heat, at heights, and in physically demanding conditions. Training is available for helpers who are willing to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor extrusion machines used in plastic production

  • Load raw materials into machines and support production flow

  • Monitor machine settings such as temperature and pressure

  • Inspect products for quality and consistency

  • Assist with setup, changeovers, and machine operation

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines

  • Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous extrusion or manufacturing experience preferred

  • Helpers willing to train are encouraged to apply

  • Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment

  • Must be able to work in extreme heat conditions

  • Comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet

  • Ability to climb stairs and platforms repeatedly throughout the shift

  • Must be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

  • Reliable transportation and good attendance required

  • Forklift experience is a plus
