CTH: Azure Integration Developer (.NET)

Overview

Client is seeking a .NET / C# Integration Developer to build, support, and enhance production integrations in an Azure cloud environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with strong experience in system integrations, REST APIs, message-based architecture, and Azure Integration Services. The right candidate can work independently on well-defined tasks, collaborate with senior engineers on more complex solutions, and follow established integration best practices for reliability, performance, and error handling.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, build, support, and enhance production system integrations using .NET / C#
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integration endpoints
• Build and support message-based integrations using RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies
• Deliver ETL and file-based data transfer solutions
• Work with Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure Data Factory to implement scalable integration solutions
• Troubleshoot integration issues and improve performance, resiliency, and error handling
• Follow established integration standards and best practices
• Partner with senior engineers on more complex design and architecture work

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• 4–5 years of .NET / C# development experience
• Hands-on experience building and supporting system integrations
• Practical experience with REST API design and consumption
• Experience with message-based integrations such as RabbitMQ or similar tools
• Experience with ETL processes or file-based data transfers
• Production experience with Azure Integration Services
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
• Comfort working in an Azure cloud environment
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and collaborate effectively on complex solutions

Preferred Skills or Experience

• Experience with Azure Logic Apps
• Exposure to Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Grid
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, repos, and work items
• Basic experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Working knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Key Vault
• Awareness of Angular or React

Work Details

• Location: Near Fitchburg, Wisconsin
• Work arrangement: Hybrid; onsite 2 days per week in Fitchburg, WI
• Schedule: Includes participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation
• On-call requirement: One full week out of every three weeks
