The Opportuniy
Join a high-performing Cloud Services team responsible for managing critical ICT infrastructure that supports large-scale government operations. This role offers the opportunity to work across enterprise private cloud environments, virtualisation platforms, cloud fabric management, and emerging technologies, helping to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions. You'll play a key role in supporting complex multi-tenant environments while contributing to continuous improvement, innovation, and cloud service enhancement initiatives.
About the Role
As a Senior Cloud Specialist, you will provide expert technical support, infrastructure administration, and cloud platform management across enterprise environments.
- Administer and support VMware/Broadcom private cloud platforms
- Manage cloud provisioning, migrations, capacity, and security services
- Support infrastructure improvement and risk management initiatives
- Assist with customer onboarding and cloud solution implementation
- Contribute to solution design, workshops, and technical presentations
- Research emerging technologies and support service innovation initiatives
About You
You are an experienced cloud infrastructure specialist with strong VMware expertise and a background supporting enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong experience with VMware/Broadcom vSphere, vCloud Director, NSX-T, and Aria Suite
- Experience supporting private cloud and virtualisation environments
- Knowledge of automation, orchestration, scripting, and DevOps practices
- Understanding of network virtualisation and enterprise networking concepts
- Experience with HPE infrastructure and OneView highly regarded
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Must have full Australian working rights & be able to commit to 3 days per week in Brisbane office
