Location: Port Huron, MI | OB/GYN Office
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- No weekends or holidays
Our busy OB/GYN office in Port Huron, MI is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience and a working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stock exam rooms
- Cooperates and communicates effectively with all patients and staff
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with minor procedures
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatments
- Collect and record patient medical history and personal information
- Collecting and processing test samples
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- 1–3 years of experience in medical assisting, CNA, etc.
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
- Strong computer and scheduling system skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work collaboratively with the team
