Role Overview
Working for the Fund Operations team, your role will assume responsibility for oversight of unit price calculations. After the business-as-usual tasks are completed the focus of the role will be on improving fund control processes and adding efficiencies wherever possible.
- Assisting to implement the team's plan for fund control
- Prepare instructions for payments and work with auditors as a point of contact
- Oversee unit pricing activities and ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
- Maintaining relationships with internal and external service providers and assisting with enquiries
- Daily unit pricing and distribution calculations
- Maintain policies and procedures
- Identify and managing risks, escalating issues when necessary
- Understanding of tax provisioning in unit pricing
- Support change agenda with ad hoc project responsibilities such as automation of processes and driving a mentality of continuous improvement
- 4-5+ years' experience in Funds Industry or Big 4 or mid-tier Chartered with exposure to Audit of funds or investments
- CA/CPA qualified
- Ideally experience working in fund accounting positions in large complex environments
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills
