Cold Heading Operator

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Cold Heading Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Columbia Station. This second-shift position (2 PM to midnight) is ideal for a detail-oriented, mechanically minded professional who takes pride in producing high-quality parts while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. JOB DUTIES:

• Operate machines safely, maintain quality, and stop for issues when needed
• Perform cold form processing, load materials, align cutters/quills, and change tooling
• Read part drawings, perform inspections, and complete SPC charting accurately
• Understand die/punch setup, transfer alignment, and perform minor adjustments
• Operate forklift safely and use ERP systems and job setup sheets effectively
• Follow ISO/IATF/ISO14001 standards, complete trainings, and perform preventative maintenance
• Perform other duties and assignments as requested by the Heading Supervisor.

•  2 years of experience in a position of similar responsibilities and job knowledge
• Mechanical and Mathematical aptitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other software packages
• Ability to read gauges such as micrometers, calipers, measuring tapes, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• High School Diploma
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening
