ABOUT THE ROLE
The Media Finance Manager is a key role supporting the day-to-day delivery of media finance operations across Australia and New Zealand. Sitting between finance and media teams, the role is responsible for ensuring accurate billing, reconciliations, reporting and commercial visibility across a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
This is a broad role that combines operational finance, process improvement and commercial support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both execution and continuous improvement. The structure can accommodate either a full-time or part-time arrangement depending on the candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage core media finance processes including AP, AR, reconciliations and accruals
- Support accurate billing cycles, revenue recognition and financial controls
- Work across media finance systems and related reporting platforms
- Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives
- Assist with margin analysis, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Track media spend, supplier costs and campaign profitability
- Partner closely with finance and media stakeholders across the business
- Support reporting accuracy and operational efficiency across the finance function
- Experience in media agency finance, commercial finance or high-volume billing environments
- Strong understanding of billing processes, reconciliations and supplier structures
- Exposure to commissions, rebates or media-related financial models is highly regarded
- Strong systems capability and confidence working across multiple platforms
- Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and accountability
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Flexible full-time or part-time structure depending on preference
