Job Description
The Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse Manager is a position strategically placed to control the execution of all inbound/outbound shipments of goods and warehouse/kitting activity. This position will require overseeing the daily functions of the shipping, receiving and the warehouse groups as well as drive continuous improvement and process upgrades.
The position will implement all company standard operating procedures and any company processes put into place and ensure that company SOP's are followed by all personnel within the groups.
Responsibilities:

• Will be required to hold daily meetings to evaluate performance levels and discuss daily needs and ideas.
• Will establish a level of acceptable performance for personnel and mentor to exceed daily expectations.
• Works closely with Purchasing and Planning, to coordinate inbound and outbound orders.
• Will be responsible for cross training of personnel.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
• Daily Ship List review for outbound shipments.
• Correct inventory related issues and maintain accurate inventory through the ERP system.
• Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the area
• Define and implement a Barcode system in the warehouse
• Automated Export System (AES) weekly review for accuracy
• Annual performance reviews
• Back up for all positions during absence or vacation.

Experience:

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager – 4 years preferred
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage personnel
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and understand transportation software systems
• International Shipping Experience along with Automated Export System (AES) knowledge would be a competitive advantage
