THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of general accounting experience, ideally including 3+ years in public accounting or audit
• Big Four, larger regional public accounting firm, or large-company industry experience strongly preferred
• Management-level SOX experience is highly important, with the ability to handle review responsibilities in a public-company environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting principles, operational accounting, and accounting controls
• Prior people leadership or direct report management experience preferred
• Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational discipline, and ability to work cross-functionally
