JOB TITLE: Specialised Project Manager

LOCATION: Remote

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 Hour Lunch)

DURATION: 8 Month Contract

PAY: $40-45/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the Technology Investment Office (TIO) and Vendor Management Office (VMO) by providing execution, financial oversight, governance support, and analytical reporting across technology investment and vendor management initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting technology and vendor-related initiatives, including:

    o Tracking funding, spend, forecasts, variances, and remaining balances across assigned portfolios.

    o Developing dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and executive-level reporting materials.

    o Coordinating governance processes, approval workflows, and cross-functional reviews.

    o Delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
  • Supporting cross-functional collaboration across IT, Finance, PMO, Supply Management, Regulatory, and business teams.
  • Identifying project risks, operational gaps, and financial variances while driving resolution and maintaining portfolio visibility.
  • Preparing leadership-ready presentations, summaries, and reporting materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Assisting with continuous improvement efforts to enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and governance processes.

    Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • Maintain financial visibility across assigned technology and vendor initiatives through tracking and analysis of spend, forecasts, and variances.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and analytical reporting tools for leadership review.
  • Coordinate governance activities, approval processes, and portfolio review materials across multiple teams.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, PMO, Supply Management, Regulatory, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuity of execution.
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure reporting consistency across initiatives and systems.
  • Prepare concise executive-level presentations and summaries highlighting key risks, milestones, and decisions needed.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives by managing dependencies, following up on action items, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with organizational standards, governance frameworks, and operational best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance portfolio management, reporting, and operational efficiency.

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze budgets, forecasts, variances, and operational data.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage tasks in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Ability to translate complex or incomplete data into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels.
  • Experience building dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and operational reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within small, highly visible teams.

    Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience supporting financial analysis, reporting, governance, project coordination, or portfolio management initiatives preferred.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments involving IT, Finance, PMO, or Vendor Management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and reporting experience highly desirable.
