- Procedures: Physicians are NOT required to do procedures but must be comfortable in the event of an emergency situation. They will be required to select the following on the application:
- Electrical Cardioversion
- Interpretation of Electrocardiogram
- IV Sedation
- Hyper alimentation
- Short Term Vent Management
- Intubation: If the physician is going to work at Rockville General Hospital, they will need to request this privilege due to the fact that RGH does not have 24-hour anesthesiology coverage. This scenario would mostly occur at night but all physicians will have to check the privilege to work at RGH.
