ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll across a large and diverse workforce. Working closely with finance, HR, and operational teams, you will ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in line with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and legislation.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll across a large and diverse workforce. Working closely with finance, HR, and operational teams, you will ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in line with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and legislation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payroll cycles across a multi-site workforce
- Interpretation and application of modern awards and enterprise agreements, including complex pay conditions
- Calculation of overtime, allowances, and site-based entitlements
- Reconciliation of payroll data prior to disbursement to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Review and validation of timesheets, including resolving discrepancies with site teams
- Management of superannuation, industry fund contributions, and statutory deductions
- Processing onboarding and offboarding payroll activities, including final pays and leave entitlements
- Maintenance of leave accruals and employee entitlements
- Ensuring compliance with Single Touch Payroll and EOFY reporting obligations
- Payroll reporting, job costing, and reconciliation of payroll-related accounts
- Ongoing system maintenance and identification of process improvements
- Responding to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a complex or high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Fair Work requirements, and compliance obligations
- Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements
- High level of attention to detail with strong reconciliation skills
- Confident working with payroll systems and Excel
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across finance, HR, and operations
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
