- Our client is seeking a qualified Electrical Designer/Modeler to join the factory infrastructure engineering team onsite in Austin, TX.
- You will play a pivotal role in the design of complex manufacturing facilities.
- The role requires a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an unparalleled ability to consistently perform at a high level.
- Perform design, drafting, and 3D modeling using Revit for electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, security, telecommunications, and more.
- Apply the National Electrical Code to develop designs compliant with applicable codes.
- Interface and collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines, including executing 3D coordination across those disciplines.
- Develop clash-free models with components to LOD 400 and perform stakeholder flythroughs using Revizto.
- Interface with construction trades and conduct regular field walks to review installation progress and adherence to the model.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- 3–5 years of experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
- Preferred knowledge of Revit MEP.
- Proficiency with electrical system components, conduit types, fittings, cable tray, and related elements.
- A strong desire to be part of a world-class team focused on achieving outstanding results.
- Experience designing commercial or industrial facilities.
- Associate degree preferred in Computerized Drafting or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with Evolv, Revizto, Dynamo, and other Revit plugins.
