About the Role

This full-time fixed-term position, commencing at the end of May 2026 through to November 2026, involves teaching Maths across Years 8-10. The role suits an adaptable educator who can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons while supporting students to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and strong numeracy foundations. Teachers will work collaboratively within a supportive faculty and contribute positively to student learning and wellbeing.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for Years 8-10
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff while contributing to a positive school culture
Requirements
  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
