Business Analyst – Regulatory & Political Affairs

Location: Juno Beach, FL

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Pay: $24-29/hour


Position Summary

We are seeking a strong Business Analyst to support the Regulatory & Political Affairs team. This role will work closely with Regulatory & Political Affairs, Legal, and external vendors to manage contracts, reporting, invoice processing, and political contribution tracking.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience working within structured workflows and compliance-focused environments. A background in legal support or paralegal work is highly beneficial.


Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will support a variety of operational and administrative functions within the Regulatory & Political Affairs department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with Regulatory & Political Affairs, Legal, and external vendors to prepare and execute contracts for lobbying and political consultants
  • Maintaining proper retention of contracts and supporting documentation within the Regulatory & Political Affairs SharePoint site
  • Managing the Lobbyists, Consultants, and Trades Report on the SharePoint site
  • Ensuring accurate coding of invoices and timely vendor payments
  • Preparing requests for political contributions and tracking records within SharePoint
  • Assisting with quarterly Board of Directors (BOD) reporting related to political contributions
  • Conducting operational analyses and preparing reports to support business operations
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives and workflow enhancements
  • Performing additional job-related duties as assigned

Essential Duties and Job Functions

  • Conduct operational and administrative analyses to support informed business decision-making
  • Prepare reports and documentation supporting Regulatory & Political Affairs operations
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research for medium-to-large projects
  • Assist with process design and modifications to support continuous business improvement
  • Ensure documentation and reporting activities comply with established workflows and office procedures
  • Coordinate effectively with internal management, staff, Legal teams, and external vendors
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and urgent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within SharePoint systems

  • Knowledge of legal terminology and governance practices preferred

  • Ability to follow established workflows, procedures, and office practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels

  • Ability to communicate tactfully and professionally with internal management and staff

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Background working as a paralegal is beneficial
  • Experience in regulatory, legal, governance, or political affairs environments preferred
