• Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Location: Lubbock, TX
• Facility: TDCJ John T. Montford Psychiatric/Medical Unit
• Setting: Corrections
• Contract: Ongoing
• Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift, 4 on / 4 off rotation (alternating 36/48-hour weeks)
• Pay:
  • Local: $38+/hour
  • Travel (50+ miles from facility):
    • W2: $20/hour
    • Weekly Travel Stipend (non-taxed): $800
    • Total Weekly Pay (36hr week): $1,520
    • Total Weekly Pay (48hr week): $1,960

• 1+ year of relevant LVN experience
• Texas or Compact LVN License

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the supervision of an RN or physician
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed orders and facility protocols
• Conduct intake screenings and assist with routine and emergency assessments
• Assess and provide mental health care, support continuity of treatment for chronic, acute, psychological and medical needs 
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or basic life support
