About the Role

Join a well-established insurance brokerage in a close-knit team, known for its strong client relationships and supportive environment. This opportunity is being presented through a recruitment partner on behalf of our client, who operates within the SME space and has built a solid reputation across the hospitality sector, particularly with regional pubs and venues.

 

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients, managing their insurance needs while delivering tailored solutions and exceptional service. It’s an ideal step-up opportunity for a Tier 1 Assistant or Account Executive ready to take on more responsibility and work more autonomously.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of SME clients, primarily within the hospitality sector
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high retention and satisfaction
  • Provide tailored insurance advice and policy recommendations
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, and general policy administration
  • Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to grow and develop the existing portfolio
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver consistent, high-quality service


About You

  • Tier 1 qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience in insurance broking (Assistant AE or Account Executive level)
  • Exposure to SME clients; hospitality experience is highly regarded
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage your workload independently and hit the ground running
  • A stable work history with recent, relevant experience
  • Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative approach
