53 Integrity Staffing - Compensable Patient Administration Officer

Apply directPAO roles are split into four areas:
- New Patients: Newly admitted private patients (reviewed twice daily)
- Day Patients: Same-day admissions (reviewed multiple times daily)
- Repeat Patients: Patients admitted for 2+ days
- CPAO: Handles all Emergency Department patients, including eligibility checks and pre-payments
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct private health eligibility checks (HBF requires phone verification)
- Visit patients to complete paperwork and provide private patient packs
- Scan and upload documents (FSH Revenue inbox and OnBase)
- Update the Private Patient Spreadsheet with patient and policy details
- Send completed documentation to SMHS Accounts Receivable for billing
Additional duties:
- Answer calls from patients and stakeholders
- Prepare private patient packs
- Resolve system edit checks and invoice flags
Patient incentives:
- No excess fees
- Daily vouchers (parking, meals, newspaper)
- Toiletries
- No out-of-pocket costs for admission
