INTENSIVIST - must be cc fellowship trained, they will cover all cc patients. May need to see non-intensivist patients to help the hospitalist's out (i.e. if they only have 6 patients and the other hospitalist has 20). They will be on call during their weeks on, but very rare that they would have to go in. Hospitalist will be the first person called, they would only be on call for cc issues. Although the ICU is licensed for 20 beds, they only cover 10-12 currently with the potential to grow.
