Our client, a large and well-established ASX-listed organisation, is seeking an experienced Systems Specialist to join their high-performing corporate team in Sydney. This role is central to ensuring the stability, optimisation, and continuous improvement of key enterprise systems—specifically SAP and JD Edwards (JDE). Working closely with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders, the Systems Specialist will play a critical role in enhancing system efficiency, supporting business transformation initiatives, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

This role is central to ensuring the stability, optimisation, and continuous improvement of key enterprise systems—specifically SAP and JD Edwards (JDE). Working closely with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders, the Systems Specialist will play a critical role in enhancing system efficiency, supporting business transformation initiatives, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional expertise across SAP and JDE, supporting system configuration, issue resolution, enhancements, and best-practice utilisation.
- Act as a key liaison between business users, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality system outcomes.
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise system performance and user experience.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, testing cycles, and implementation of new modules or functionality.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including process maps, governance standards, and user guides.
- Deliver training and support to end-users, lifting capability and ensuring consistent adoption of system processes.
- Partner with finance and operational teams to identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate workflows, and improve data accuracy.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP and JDE in complex corporate environments (ASX-listed or large enterprise desirable).
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes across finance, operations, supply chain, or asset management.
- Proven track record supporting system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience contributing to business transformation, automation, or process improvement initiatives is highly regarded.
