- Operate within a flat, highly collaborative environment, partnering directly with development managers, construction leadership, design teams, finance, ownership, and external legal counsel.
- Position is part of the Company’s finance and risk management team for contract administration, deadline tracking, document management, title coordination, project leases, project finance, and closing documentation.
- Serve as the internal liaison between business stakeholders and a long-tenured external legal team, ensuring alignment across legal and operational priorities.

Why This Role Is Important
- Acts as a critical bridge between the development team and external legal counsel, helping the business navigate legal and commercial considerations in real time.
- Ensures transactions progress efficiently by reviewing contracts, advising on standard forms and provisions, and coordinating approvals and execution.
- Supports a wide range of real estate transactions, including leases, purchase and disposition agreements, loan documents, cross-access agreements, easements, restrictions, and select construction contracts.
- Plays a key role in both production and risk management.
Location
- Onsite, five days per week in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC
The Background That Fits
- 7+ years of experience within a commercial real estate firm with direct responsibility for contract management.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to assess risk, balance legal protection with deal progression, and communicate effectively with detail-oriented stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
