My client, a leading D&C Electrical Contractor delivering some of Melbourne’s most significant infrastructure projects across the transport, utilities, energy, and industrial sectors has asked me to recruit an experienced C.A to join their busy team.
You will be supporting the commercial delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects across Melbourne and wider Victoria.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team working on large-scale projects where your input will directly influence project outcomes, commercial performance, and client relationships.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the administration and management of contracts and agreements across multiple infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the administration and management of contracts and agreements across multiple infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing subcontractor procurement, scope reviews, and contract negotiations
- Preparing, issuing, and administering subcontract agreements
- Assessing and processing progress claims, variations, and EOTs
- Supporting project teams with contractual compliance and risk management
- Monitoring project costs, forecasting, and commercial reporting
- Assisting with head contract administration and client correspondence
- Managing supplier and subcontractor relationships throughout project delivery
- Supporting dispute avoidance and commercial resolution processes
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, policies, and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience working as a Contract Administrator within construction, civil, electrical, or utilities sectors
- Exposure to D&C contracting environments
- Strong understanding of subcontract management and commercial processes
- Experience working on major infrastructure or industrial projects highly regarded
- Ability to interpret construction contracts and technical documentation
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
