Temporary Customer Service Officer – Manufacturing
Location: Ingleburn
Salary: $35-38 per hour
The Company

Supporting a diverse customer base across multiple sectors, the business is known for its collaborative culture, operational strength, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
With continued growth across the division, they are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join their team and play a key role in supporting both customers and internal sales functions.
The Role
Managing end to end customer service for key accounts, including order entry, modifications, and issue resolution
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to enhance long-term value
Supporting and collaborating with offshore customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and web platforms in a timely and professional manner
Managing EDI orders and liaising with logistics providers to resolve delivery-related issues
Maintaining accurate customer records and case management
Handling post sales enquiries including invoices
Maintaining and updating pricing in SAP, including resolving pricing discrepancies
Supporting the Sales Team with reporting, quoting, and administrative tasks
Assisting with credit applications, pricing workflows, and forecasting
Capturing and documenting new sales opportunities for follow up
Contributing to Sales & operational planning processes
Identifying opportunities for process improvement
The Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Previous experience in a customer service or internal sales role
Experience within manufacturing or supply chain environments highly regarded
Strong SAP experience is essential
Experience using Dynamics or similar CRM/CSM systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
A proactive, team-oriented mindset
