A Legal Secretary is sought to provide dedicated support to a Partner in a litigation-focused environment. This role requires a proactive individual with one to two years of legal secretarial experience, capable of managing a busy workflow effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the Partner's diary and monitor upcoming commitments
- Organise and prepare files in advance
- Prepare documents from dictation into Word
- Oversee inbox management
- Ensure the Partner is informed of deadlines and tasks
- Assist with preparation for court hearings
- Provide invoicing support during staff absences
- Handle overflow telephone calls as needed
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in legal secretarial roles, ideally with exposure to litigation
- Strong capability in managing priorities and reminders for a busy Partner
- Demonstrated ability to maintain organisation and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
