An exciting opportunity for an experienced life insurance underwriter or life insurance underwriting analyst to play a key role in improving underwriting performance through insight‑led optimisation.
This role partners closely with senior underwriting stakeholders to analyse outcomes, identify opportunities, and support practical changes that balance customer experience, commercial performance and risk integrity.

The Role
- Analyse underwriting performance and decision outcomes to identify improvement opportunities
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Support and progressively lead underwriting optimisation initiatives end‑to‑end
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external insurer stakeholders
- Background in life insurance - underwriting, underwriting analytics, operations and/or optimisation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and complex decisioning environments
- Clear communicator who can simplify technical concepts for varied audiences
- High‑impact role with strong visibility to senior stakeholders
