An exciting opportunity exists for a proactive and capable Lab Metallurgist to join a dynamic mining and resources environment. This role is responsible for overseeing metallurgical test work programs, primarily conducted at external laboratory facilities such as Nagrom or similar operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor metallurgical test work programs, including flotation and gravity separation test work.
- Ensure all test work is conducted safely, efficiently, and aligned with project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with laboratory personnel and external contractors to maintain test integrity and data accuracy.
- Interpret test work outcomes and translate findings into actionable recommendations for the project development team.
- Provide clear and timely updates, reports, and technical interpretations to internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of metallurgical test procedures and laboratory workflows.
- Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Up to 4 years' proven laboratory experience in mineral processing or metallurgical test work (essential).
- Strong understanding of flotation and gravity separation processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
