A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician

MERITUS are recruiting for an A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join an expanding MRO business based in Miami after they have just invested in their facility expansion.

A&P AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - $38 per hour - OVERTIME AVAILABLE - Miami, Florida - PERMANENT - FAST MOVING PROCESS - SECTOR: MRO / AEROSPACE

Meritus are partnered with a growing aerospace MRO organisation in Miami supporting commercial and business aviation maintenance programmes. Due to continued expansion and increasing aircraft maintenance demand, we are seeking experienced A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join a high-performing maintenance team within a busy FAA Part 145 environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work supporting heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and aircraft return-to-service activities across multiple aircraft platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and system testing
• Support heavy maintenance checks and modification programmes
• Remove, repair, and replace aircraft components and assemblies
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
• Complete maintenance actions in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and documentation
• Support aircraft return-to-service activities as required

Required Experience

• FAA A&P License required
• 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience within MRO, commercial aviation, military aviation, or business jet environments
• Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis experience
• Experience supporting heavy maintenance and inspection programmes
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and aircraft documentation
• Previous experience within an FAA Part 145 environment preferred
• Strong understanding of FAA compliance and safety procedures
