The Role
We are currently recruiting across multiple levels within public practice, providing opportunities for accountants at different stages of their careers. These roles focus on delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services while working closely with both clients and internal teams.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for a range of clients
- Managing BAS, GST and other compliance obligations
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Working directly with clients to provide advice and support
- Contributing to process improvements and system efficiencies
- Supporting senior staff and contributing to team development
- For more experienced candidates, mentoring junior team members and reviewing work
These opportunities will suit accountants with experience in public practice who are looking to progress their careers within structured and supportive firms.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within an Australian public practice environment
- Strong understanding of accounting, tax and compliance requirements
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Good communication skills and confidence working with clients
- A proactive and organised approach to managing workload
- CA or CPA qualification (or working towards) for senior-level roles
- An interest in developing technical capability and progressing professionally
The roles range from $70,000 – $110,000 + benefits (including study support where relevant).
