Lawyer (0–2 PQE) – Shipping & Class Actions

Introduction
This is a rare opportunity for a junior disputes lawyer to join a high-performing national shipping team working on a major, headline-class action. You will be embedded in a close-knit team and gain hands-on exposure to all stages of complex litigation, well beyond traditional document review.

The Role

• Play an active role in a major class action, with early involvement across witness and claimant interviews, coordination of litigants and trial preparation.
• Gain end-to-end exposure to complex disputes as the matter progresses toward trial over the coming years.
• Work closely within a small, supportive team on one of the firm’s most significant ongoing matters.

About You

• You will ideally have 0–2 years’ PQE in disputes or litigation, with Australian or overseas qualifications welcomed.
• You will bring prior exposure to disputes or investigations, with shipping or class action experience viewed as an advantage but not essential.
• You will be organised, adaptable and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment, with a genuine interest in complex, large-scale litigation.
