Manual Machinist

Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Cleveland, OH

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machine tools including lathes, mills, and horizontal/vertical boring equipment as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to machine parts to exact specifications
• Perform full setups independently, including tooling selection and alignment
• Machine large, heavy parts to tight tolerances
• Adjust machine settings such as feeds, speeds, and cuts based on material and setup
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators)
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, organized work area
• Use and maintain own machinist tools

• 5+ years of manual machining experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment
• Experience working with medium to large components
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must pass pre-employment screening
