Morgan Consulting is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation within the supply chain and distribution space to recruit a Customer Service & Operations Officer.

The Role
You will be the primary point of contact for customers across all operational functions including orders, deliveries and invoicing. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and a “first time right” approach to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency.
You will also work closely with internal teams and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure seamless order fulfilment and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end order processing (order to cash)
- Respond to and manage customer enquiries across orders, deliveries and invoicing
- Liaise closely with 3PL providers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational and logistics issues
- Arrange returns, credit and debit notes
- Perform cost entry and reconcile 3PL invoices
- Support inventory management and stock reconciliation
- Provide support to sales, supply chain and finance teams
- Identify and suggest process improvements
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service or order fulfilment
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Process-driven with strong problem-solving skills
- Confident working with ERP systems and Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Experience working with logistics or 3PL providers is highly regarded
