Senior Software Engineer - GO (f/m/d)

Our client, a highly successful and well-established leader in the cloud hosting and data center industry, is looking to expand their engineering team with a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Go (Golang) (f/m/d). YOUR TASKS:

• Design and develop high-quality, maintainable Go applications focused on cloud functionalities like storage, computing, and networking.
• Lead the software development lifecycle from concept to deployment, with an emphasis on cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers and cloud architects to enhance the scalability and performance of cloud services.
• Ensure production readiness by operating services in a high-availability environment, conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, driving best practices in cloud software development.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve service reliability and speed of delivery.

YOUR PROFILE:  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience, including strong Java-based backend development and at least 3 years with Go (Golang).
• Solid experience in developing and maintaining cloud services, with expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, especially within an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in problem-solving and technical innovation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience leading projects in a multicultural environment.
