DAS Technician | Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and troubleshoot Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) in commercial and industrial environments
  • Run, terminate, and label coaxial and fiber optic cabling
  • Install DAS components including antennas, amplifiers, splitters, and head-end equipment
  • Perform RF signal testing and optimization using appropriate testing tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, RF designs, and system layouts
  • Support installation of related low voltage systems including structured cabling as needed
  • Work safely on ladders and lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas while following all safety protocols

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of DAS, wireless, or low voltage installation experience
  • Experience with coax, fiber, and RF equipment installation preferred
  • Knowledge of cellular networks and RF fundamentals is a plus
  • BICSI, OSHA, and lift certifications are a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and system designs
  • Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
  • Willingness to travel to job sites within the region as needed
