Construction Superintendent

As Construction Superintendent, you'll be the engine room between strategic construction leadership and frontline delivery — keeping multiple work fronts moving safely and to plan.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading day-to-day construction execution across multiple disciplines and work fronts
• Directing and coaching Construction Supervisors on priorities, sequencing, permits, and resources
• Driving short-interval planning — daily actuals, lookaheads, constraint management, and recovery actions
• Championing site HSE standards including permit-to-work, LOTO, critical controls, and pre-starts
• Managing contractor performance: productivity, competency, attendance, and compliance
• Ensuring work is completed to spec with ITP compliance, punch list closure, and structured handovers
• Providing accurate daily reporting and building strong relationships with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent (or Senior Supervisor ready to step up) on mining or heavy industrial projects
• Strong multi-discipline knowledge across civil, SMP, mechanical, or electrical construction
• Experience managing multiple contractors and work fronts in a live operational environment
• Solid planning discipline — lookaheads, constraint management, short-interval control
• High standards in safety leadership and a track record of contractor compliance
• Trade qualification and relevant site safety/leadership training
• S26 qualification
• High Risk Work Licences (dogging/rigging, EWP) advantageous
• Current driver's licence and ability to meet site medical/fitness requirements
