Nesco has a Temp-to-Perm Card Tender position available in Enoree, SC
Experience is required:

Position Summary:
The Card Tender is responsible for operating and monitoring carding machines used in the textile manufacturing process. This role ensures fibers are properly processed, blended, and prepared for production while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. The Card Tender will inspect materials
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor carding machines and related textile production equipment.
  • Load raw materials and fibers into machines according to production specifications.
  • Inspect fibers and finished material for quality defects or inconsistencies.
  • Perform routine machine checks and notify maintenance or supervisors of mechanical issues.
  • Remove waste, clean machines, and maintain a safe and organized work area.
  • Follow production schedules and meet daily production goals.
  • Assist with machine setup, threading, and changeovers as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing or textile experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.


Work Schedule:

1 st 6am – 4pm
Monday - Thursday
Pay:
$16.00/hr
