We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused General Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join a friendly and dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide direct, individualized bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Evaluate medical information and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Prepare, administer, and accurately document prescribed medications.
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report adverse reactions to medications.
• Work with the healthcare team on effective discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, charts, and electronic health records.

Essential Criteria

• AHPRA Registered Nurse.
• 12 years experience in General Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Strong communication and patient-education skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Right to work in Australia (Please note: sponsorship is not available).
