Technical IT Infrastructure Manager (MS365, Fortinet, NIST2) : South Dublin

I am recruiting for a Technical IT Infrastructure Manager to work with my client in south Dublin (Blackrock, Dun Laoghaire, Sandyford, Leopardstown etc)

Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT Infrastructure Manager will play a key role in delivering the strategic IT vision and ensuring high-quality, secure, and reliable IT services across the organisation.

You will:

• Lead the transition and stabilisation of IT services following separation from Group IT and migration to an independent Microsoft tenancy
• Manage and secure the network infrastructure, ensuring robust security controls
• Develop and oversee the IT Service Management function, including day-to-day operations and infrastructure performance

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, Conditional Access, and Entra ID
• Proven experience with Fortinet networking (firewalls, switches, routers, access points)
• Solid understanding of network architecture, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization
• Experience with IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network segmentation
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, OWASP, NIS2)
• Experience with endpoint protection, MFA, patching, and vulnerability management
• Minimum 3 years managing IT service operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

• Experience with network upgrades, domain migrations, and cloud transitions
• Background in the healthcare sector
• Understanding of IT’s role in healthcare delivery
