Financial Controller

Our client is a leading Venture Capital company who are seeking a Financial Controller to lead group-wide financial operations and support strategic decision-making across the business. This role is more commercial than a standard FC role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations across the group including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reports.
• Strategy focused decision making.
• Dealing with Investors, pitching etc.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring reconciliations and transfer pricing adjustments are accurate.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and tax reporting obligations.

Requirements:

• Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 5+ years post-qualification experience as a Financial Controller.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
