(Senior) Quality Assurance Specialist – Electrical products

Overview

A leading international sourcing organisation is seeking a (Senior) Quality Assurance Specialist to join its SDA Quality Assurance team. This role is critical in ensuring product safety, quality compliance, and on‑time delivery across global sourcing operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and third‑party laboratories across Europe, Asia, and the US, supporting continuous product improvement and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage product quality requirements and third‑party laboratory testing for SDA across Europe, Asia, and the US
  • Support Quality Assurance, Merchandising, and Production teams on all product and compliance matters
  • Ensure sample inspections, testing, and reporting are completed within target timelines
  • Review artwork, packaging, manuals, and labelling for compliance
  • Initiate and manage product certification processes (e.g. GS Mark, Quality Test Marks, etc.)
  • Review test results, failure analysis, CAP reports, and retest arrangements with suppliers
  • Provide technical guidance, issue escalation, and solution‑oriented recommendations

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance / QC / Engineering roles within hardgoods or SDA
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Engineering / Hardgoods related disciplines preferred)
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical / power tools products
  • Experience working with third‑party testing laboratories and retailer standards
