Nurse (RN) Supervisor

As an RN Supervisor in home health you will lead the nursing staff, oversees patient care plans, ensures quality/compliance with regulations (like HIPAA, state/federal laws), manages staff scheduling/training, handles administrative tasks (records, reports, budgets), acts as liaison with families/physicians, and promotes team growth, focusing on high-quality, coordinated care in patient homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Oversight: Supervise field nurses, conduct case reviews, ensure accurate assessments, and monitor patient needs/progress.
• Staff Leadership: Recruit, orient, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; manage scheduling to ensure adequate coverage. Quality & Compliance: Implement quality improvement programs, ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (state/federal).
• Patient Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, families, and other departments to develop and implement care plans, addressing patient/family concerns.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, oversee supply/medication management, and manage unit operations within financial guidelines.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Administrator on staff, patient status, and operational matters.

Essential Qualifications:

• Current RN License. Experience in home health/case management.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of home health regulations and standards.
